At the Cannes film festival! Good choice to come to the south of France now! So far went to a busta rhymes VIP party, saw uma thurman, and Michelle Rodriguez. And saw so many beautiful gowns and clothes. Jealous of the rich and famous but what else is new. At least we get to rub shoulders for a week!

I miss Italian food

Italy was AMAZING! Best food I ever ate. And they eat big, just the way I like it! I started in Venizia which was beautiful! Small old streets, no cars allowed, it was awesome. Went on a wonderful cruise by Costa Cruises with my cousin Sade. We went to Bari, Italy, Olympia in Greece, Izmir and Istanbul in Turkey, Dubrovnik in Croatia and back to Venice! So much fun! The first cruise that I had been on and it was awesome! Lots of food, lots of cool people, and great sights! I definitely need to go on more cruises in my life!

After the cruise I was in Venice for a couple days, then went on to Firenze (or Florence) which was awesome! I stayed in Borgo San Lorenzo with some family friends, who were so kind to take care of me, feed me, and enjoy my company! I’m telling you the food it Italy is out of this world. I don’t want to eat anywhere else for the rest of my life, except maybe Argentina ;-) In Florence I went to the main museums, Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia which houses the original David by Michelangelo! It was amazing! So much larger than I thought and to see it in person it crazy. I can’t believe people carve things out of marble like that. I feel so unaccomplished.

So after Firenze it was on to Roma! I didn’t have enough time to see all the wonderful sights in Rome of course, but I made it to the main attractions, The Sistine Chapel, the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine hill! Such a big city full of so much history! The Romans civilization is pretty neat.

Well I took a 9 hour train ride to Nice! And now I am in France! And it just so happens this week starts the Cannes Film Festival! What luck! And Cannes is only about 20 minutes away! So hopefully I will try to make it there and catch some celebrity sightings! Woody Allen’s film Midnight in Paris starts opening night (Tomorrow 11 May) starring Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams, it looks pretty good! Wish me luck on getting into any Cannes events, and if you know anyone in the film industry tell them to give me a shout!

Au revoir!
